European integration of the Republic of Serbia

On her visit to Sweden, the chief negotiator of the Republic of Serbia for accession to the European Union, Ms Tanja Miscevic, will give a lecture on the prospects and challenges facing the country on its path towards EU membership.
Serbia was granted candidate country status for EU membership in 2012 and accession negotiations are set to commence in 2014.
